Kumbhirgram Airport IXS
Also known as Silchar airport, Kumbhigram Airport is situated in Silchar, which is the head quarter of Kachar District of Assam in India. It is a public type of airport, which is owned by the Airports Authority of India.
The strategic importance of this airport can be judged by the fact that it is responsible for linking Kumbhigram city to areas like Guwahati, Agartala, Imphal, Aizwal, and Kolkata.
