If you have arrived on an international flight, you will have to get your baggage checked at the Customs counters.

• Medical/First Aid Facilities
• Public Call Offices
• Tourist Information Centre

There are car rental service counters in both the terminals, from where you can hire a car with a chauffeur to get to the city. The car rental services have standard and deluxe cars and coaches for hire. Outside the terminal buildings, you will find a horde of three wheeler taxis (auto rickshaws).
Very strict security measures have been implemented in Srinagar, and you will see many military personnels inside and outside the airport. While flying in and out of Srinagar, you are not allowed to carry cameras and cell phones, and you cannot photograph the breath taking views of the Himalayas.
